Gavita pro 1700e led grow light equivalent of 1000watts

The Gavita pro 1700e led fixture is a full spectrum high intensity grow light that truly does replace the generic 600watt to a 1000watt hps growlight. As you would expect from the worlds leading horticultural lighting brand the Gavita 1700e Led light consists of high quality parts such as the Philips advance drivers, Samsung white LEDs and Osram deep red LEDs. Consuming 645 watts you would expect any gavita light to give off some heat just like the original Gavita 600s and 1000watt fixtures, however the 8 passively cooled LED bars provide intense light coverage with no fans or moving parts which significantly reduces the number of possible fail points compared to other fixtures.

Uniformity 

The 8 bar configuration allows you to mount this light source much lower than normal LED ights or HPS lights as its only 2.3 inches high! This allows growers who would normally be restricted due to ceiling or tent height to now be able to use a HIGH intensity light with now worry about heat or large ballasts taking up too much room.

Wet rating 

Ip66 wet rated and UL880 compliant for use in wet environments which allows versatile placement in growing spaces. Its IP66 wet rating provides complete protectionfrom dust, oil and water allowing you to mount this light source in many different conditions.
